I got some new headlights and was trying to adjust the driver side. As I was turning the adjustment screw it was not moving and then the mechanisms jumped out of the socket. At least it looks like a socket with three tabs.
I am working on getting it warranty, but I curious about how the adjustment actually moved the light.
Like all headlights, I assume there is a pivot and spring that the adjuster overcomes. Is this correct?
Should I be able to move it by pushing on that tab? I did not get real forcefully with it, but I could not move it.
I believe it popped because I was trying to pull it up.
