headers and intake question.

Ok im trying to install an intake pipe for a cai but that vacuum line or whatever that is by the arrow wont work because there is no hole in the pipe, and I cant drill one because it will go right through the pipe clamp. So what I was thinking was a little filter like this: filter for where the arrow is.

Sorry if this is confusing, I dont want this to look "ricy" if you know what I mean. lol

Now for my headers question.

If I go with headers which I probably will how will i gain back low end torque? I heard that with headers you loose alot.

I honestly am not too familiar with the naturally aspirated prix's but I think if you go with the 2.5 you wont lose too much back end. Not really sure though :th_scratchhead:

I'd find a way to make that line/tube go back into the intake somehow.

As for headers, adding a HV3 insert will help.
hv3 does nothing for low end, actually if you go on zzp youll see you lose some down low with it also under 4000 rpms(not much but its true), headers you just move the "powerband" in the upper rpms not in the midrange rpms power anymore, goes good with hv3 and tune. if you want to keep your midrange power get a plog and 2.5 inch downpipe.
