Header Questions For My 90 Chevy PU

Ok, i'm looking to put a set a headers on my 1990 chevy PU. but there's alot of choices and alot of opinions on what kind is the best. For my truck there's the really short headers that actually bolt to the stock y pipe. than midlength ones that you can get a new y pipe specific to those headers. than of course full length which are the biggest pains of all to put in, ie re-work whole exhaust system. as it sits now its completely stock and i plan to only do typical TBI upgrades. nothing major as i'm only lookin for a lil more power and mileage as i will soon be haulin a camper around.

So... whats everyones opinions on the power differences in headers?

From what i've gathered since i'm not lookin to cam, heads, or bigger anything really i don't feel i need full length or even mids.

my reasoning is that there is less work and youre not looking for a substantial power gain. if it were me id be long tube all the way, but its not me.

well i shouldn't say i'm not lookin for much power gain... i'm lookin for as much as i can with mainly bolt ons. just wasn't sure that what little i'm doin up top would need full length. but if it was to make a difference of even 5 hp more i'd be game for the time to do full length
