Header question and noob

New to these forums basically. Joined about 4 years ago but forgot until now. Recently purchased a 2001 GTP Special Edition for a good deal in immaculate condition and have been starting to do some mods. Looking into headers, but am totally confused on what ones to get. I have beeb looking at the XS Power and SSAC headers. Are these pretty decent? From what I've read, the downpipe for the ssac headers still has the u bend? Is this correct? What all do I need for headers and can I easily install them myself? Any info appreciated!
 


Car is mostly stock, newer plug wires and plugs, zzp coils, cold air intake from cold air inductions, new thermostat, new fuel filter, zzp transmission pan.
