Haynes Manuals

Would anyone recommend these manuals to a complete newbie?

I'm only 18 and my 04 GT2 is my first car which I wanna keep for a long time, I absolutely love this car.

I took auto mechanics in high school, but those classes only teach basic crap like oil changes and tire balancing (lame). My neighbour is a mechanic so he's always there to help me, real nice guy, but I want to learn more about my car in general, so I was wondering if you guys would recommend a Haynes Manual for a COMPLETE NEWB WHEN IT COMES TO CARS!

I'm very interested in vehicles, always have been since I was a kid.

Thanks guys.

Take what they have to say with a grain of salt though..they can be a little inaccurate sometimes. They are good to have around though

I'd check on ebay for 2004 Grand Prix Service Manual. Either go with the paper or a DVD on it. That way you can get the actual GM FSM. Hands down there's no comparision, including all data
