• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Have to leave the key ignition in the On position

That is odd..

If it were fuel related, it should take more than one key on to get pressure built up. But the pump runs for 2-3 seconds at most to do that. Then it stops.

It turns over, but won't actually start is what you are saying. ??

are you turning the key off at all and then going forward again at all or letting it lay there for a minute and then it'll fire?

I'll cut it all the way off and then turn it to the on position and let it stay for at least one minute then it will start up. It doesn't happen all the time just started today

Can we put all the facts together? I can't do well with all of the tidbits all over the place.

It sounds like:
- When you turn the key, nothing happens
- If you leave the key in the "on" position for a while (at least a minute), the car will just start itself without you putting the key in the start position
- The car just shut off last night when idling, even though the key was in the "on" position and engine running

BTW what year is the car?
