Harmonic balancer question

I bought a used engine from a junk yard out of 2000 park avenue its a 3.8 supercharged. The junk yard says you need to change the oil pan the pick up tube and the harmonic balancer. The oil pan makes sense and the pickup tube. But not the harmonic balancer. I called advance auto and they couldn't find a part number for the harmonic balancer for a 2000 park avenue. Anybody know if there is a difference?

its the same as far as how it works. if its different as in being the same as an h-body balancer (bonneville) then its actually better.

I'm with Bio. I've never changed a balancer when swapping. Physical size etc is the same.

You need to swap the pan due to the aluminum w/o mount at that end vs your mount. And the pickup tube is part of the pan the way I see it. Might be shorter/longer for the alum pan.

Check TC size to ensure the flywheel bolt holes are the same as they should be. It's a good check though.

If using stock exhaust manifolds, swap the rear.

I got it in. Everything fits. Had to removal the oil filter adapter and swap it with my other one. Thanks guys
