Hardware store "Shift Kit"

I've read many posts concerning different shift kits and several people mentioned buying washers at Lowes or Home Depot. Did I miss a post where someone gave the actual sizes of the washers or if noone has could someone please post what worked for them? For both the 1-2 and 3-4?:th_thumb-up:

Why not look into getting the transgo shift kit from triple edge performance or an intense shift kit if you want to adjust the firmness of the shifts.

Why not look into getting the transgo shift kit from triple edge performance or an intense shift kit if you want to adjust the firmness of the shifts.

I'm leaning towards the Intense shift kit, I was just curious about the DIY kit.
