HARD steering low RPMS

Ok, so i am having hard steering at low rpms...

I replaced the rack and pinion and the power steering pump last night...

When i am at a stand still trying to turn out, or when i slow and try to park/ turn... I have no steering capabilites until i give it gas and once my RPMs raise, the steering loosens and can safely turn...

If i am in neutral and raise the RPMs the steering loosens also...

what else could cause this?

The tie-rod ends, strut mounts, and wheel hubs all only have 30,000 miles on them.

I am lowered on ST springs and KYB AGX struts. I do have a rattling coming from the drivers side suspension tho also. And the spring on the drivers side doesnt seem to be seating completely sometimes...

Any ideas?

ihad no problems bleeding the new system...

20+ times turning lock to lock with engine on but not running, 20+ times with engine running... no sign of hard steering with car off ground... no whine or any issues

once the car has wieght on the suspension is where the problem occurs

On cars with Magnasteer there is a little electrical connector that plugs into the rack. It is what adjusts pressure according to steering load and speed. Make sure that it is plugged in.

no fix yet...and brian... my 97 se actually came with the non-variable rack... i dont actually have a magnasteer rack... any other ideas?
