hard start and hesitation above 5k

My 98GTP has been starting hard and hesitating above 5k. First off the hard happens if I havent drove it for a few hours it'll turn over for say 15seconds and finally grab, but if I spin it for 3 sec stop and try again if fires right off. It seems like pausing for a moment is what helps.
The hesitation happens above 5k under WOT. It feels like it's missing but I have yet to see a code appear. Will these cars miss without throwing a code?? I also checked one of the coil packs and found the sencondary to be fine but the primary was measuring .4 ohm. My manual says it should be .5-.9 ohm could this cause an issue at high rpm??
 


Sounds like you have a fuel restriction. Have you changed the fuel filter? The hard start and waiting between cranks is allowing the system to re-prime when you turn the key again, thus building the correct pressure to fire up. The missing at 5K could also be fuel related and the car is pulling timing to keep from going too lean and blowing out a cylinder or 2.
