hard shift into 3rd gear

so just a couple of days ago my 97 gtp has started to shift vary hard from second to third. a week ago i changed the trans fluid to synthetic fluid and put a new filter. i am also waiting for my transgo shift kit to come. but the trans is stock until i get that shift kit in; but any insight of what else i should do for the hard shiffting? or whats causing it?
 


Check for trouble codes to see if you have a P1811 or any other codes trans related. On rare occasions the accumulator springs can break or the pistons can get stuck in the accumulator bore and cause a harsh shift. When you install the shift kit you will be able to inspect the accumulator parts.
 
ok so i put the shift kit in, and it was alright for a couple hundred miles; doing its job well. then the ses light came back on and its slipping into third now. pcs problem? idk trannyman what do you think i should do?
