Harbor Freight braker bar... is it safe?

So I want to get a breaker bar, working on a 232k mile car im sure theres going to be rust.
This is what im looking at. seems fine and all but ... harbor freight doesn't sell the highest quality tools.
once split a socket in half. this is going to take a lot of pressure.
think it will hold up, or break and hurt me?

probably be fine, if you want stronger sockets, ive cracked many too. buy the black ones, those are impact sockets and ive never broken one yet.

just don't want to be giving something all I go and have it give :th_radioactive:
12$ though and it looks like I can fit my jack handle in it for more dangerous fun :)

if the bolt breaks its the same thing. buy it. let us know, for 12 bucks its worth a chance.

most of my HF tools are holding up well.

Buy it. The worst that can happen is it breaks then you get a refund. I bought my jack there years ago and was worried it was going to collapse the first couple times I lifted the car. That was about 5 years ago and I've had 0 issues with it so far. Stay away from their sockets though I had a few crack before.

HF is good for a lot of things. I typically stick to reading reviews on what's good and what's not. Sockets and extensions that I have own have not held up well. I have broken one of their breaker bars in the past so like everyone else says YMMV on a lot of their stuff. Tools that you don't plan on using often are typically ok.....something that you plan to use more often I try to get the better quality version.

you should see abuse my kobalt socket set gets. ive put a pipe on the 3/8 ratchet countless times and it still has not broken on me lol

you need to know when its gonna break feel tho, may times a bolt was not moving and i then move to the 1/2 drive breaker bar and a pipe.

My aunt and uncle gave me 3/8" and 1/2" breaker bar from Harbor Freight. Work perfectly fine. No complaints.

Go for it.. I've had my HF 1/2 breaker bar for years and haven't broken it yet.. Worse case they'll either exchange or refund you if you do happen to break it quickly. You really can't beat them for their prices.
