Had a nice race against an 03 Maxima

Was at a stoplight and next to me pulls up is some dude who lives around town with a nice looking and sounding 03ish Maxima GLE 6spd with at least intake and an exhaust. I know what these cars are capable of with that vq engine. But anyway light goes green and we both take off with some spinning involved on both of us but with my torque i pull away nicely with a good 1-1 1/2 car on him for awhile until about 70 then he starts reeling me some and im like dammit. But every time he shifted i saw me pull some more distance and i eventually let off at almost 100 due to a curve and he comes right on my tail and i punch it again at a straightaway and he stays within a car-half a car on my tail in the other lane. He ends up flying by me after i get home at WOT giving me a thumbs up.My mods are listed and not even fully tuned.
 


Yea i saw the work of that top end,he almost reeled me in lol. But my car had just enough oomph to hold him off.
 
Longer stretch he would have reeled you in, yes the top end on these cars has always sucked need to get out front early and hope its over before they reel you in.

Nice kill anyways sounds like that could be a pretty even match up.
