IDK what you are talking about though...I beat a '06 GTO, GM Ripshifter, removed exhaust, K&N CAI...he didnt pass me until about 100 or so and it was pulling for all it was worth too...you gotta figure GTO's weigh about 4400 lbs. though...

Where did you get 4400 lbs? curb weight is 3765lbs !!!

yeah, GTOs are decent cars, not amazing performance wise though. I got a close friend with an 05 GTO, headers back exhaust, tuned, and intake on the way, sounds friggin mean, but it just barely pulls on my brothers trans am, with just a tune and intake. granted, both of these cars will eat me at highway speeds but up to 55ish, i can run with either of em. I guess what i'm saying is that GTOs are nice, but not a huge stand out in performance.

Well put. I raced one of my buddy's with the 6.0,bbk intake,1.84 rockers,slp headers,slp catback.slp maf,and cold air intake...and was pulling pretty good on him.....I have to say i really liket he way they look

GTO 3800 lbs from factory, even tuned you gotta launch perfect to keep up with a factory 06 till it hits third. But WS6 or GTO gotta be the hardest choice ever. Buy both or you'll still feel bad that you only have one. or just get a ZR1 and kill everything
