had a little fun with a ls2 gto

i must say i was disapointed tho...

i passed him up from a stop light just so i could put the supercharger all in his ear :) well then he speed up, got behind me then switched to the next lane beside me and was pulling up. i went ahead and nailed it (about 55) he finally crept by me at about 75. and when i say crept. it was like when your passing someone doing 50 and they are doing 45. he wasent passing me all that hard. i had a full second or two to stare at the driver. he had the biggest grin on his face, but i did too :) shortly after he passed me i hit 3rd. BLAH it fell on its face. he then hit his next gear and begain to slow put about 3 cars on me. i stoped at 105 and he was problew going about 115. MAYBE a little faster. not much.

i was disapointed in it tho. i think an ls1 camaro would have pulled me harder. i mean he deff beat me but i was thinking he was going to slauter me. and he works at my old job and a guy with a WS6 said he beat him all the time at the track so idk. i was highly disopointed with it..

It's a GTO, how much more could you have expected? x_x
 
ehh there sweet. they weight to much for what they are and have a hard time putting the power to the ground. ls1 camaros are faster

I dunno what u guys are talkin about.

My bro's 04 GTO is sick. That thing pulls like no tmw.

If you guys want to really race a ls1, tow a boat on the back of each car. See who wins :D
 


ls1 gto's that i have seen at the track are about 13.6. ls1 camaros are 13.1. yes they are strong, but compared to other ls cars, there slow.

and i beat a 5.7l gto in the 1/8 mile and i dont think my car is that fast. yea his top end killed me tho but still
 
yea but im just comparing ls1 to ls1. the ls2's in the gto are about as fast as the ls1 camaros, and by the performance i saw the other day im kinda doughting that.
 
i love the GTO 05-06 there fast but if i had to choose between a WS6 and GTO it would be WS6 all day

Goat FAIL^^

TT COBRA FTGDMFW!!!

IDK what you are talking about though...I beat a '06 GTO, GM Ripshifter, removed exhaust, K&N CAI...he didnt pass me until about 100 or so and it was pulling for all it was worth too...you gotta figure GTO's weigh about 4400 lbs. though...
