H1 Projector Retro-fit High beam wiring

As title suggests, I did a projector retrofit with H1 bulbs in my 2000 GTP. For those who don't know, factory 9007 are dual-filament bulbs, which switch filaments (power circuits) when you engage high beams.

This presents a problem for the H1, being a single filament bulb. As it is now, when i flip to high beams, the "flap" opens but the bulb turns off.

I was considering doing some sort of relay from the headlight switch to keep the bulb powered any time that the switch is on, and that might be my only viable option.

But i was hoping that someone has insight, regarding the relay that switches between the high/low beam circuit. I presume it's somewhere in the DRLm or BCM? Or is there some sort of adapter harness available to keep power applied to the bulb, and to the flap? I'm not sure how that would work... a diode of some kind maybe?

Anyway, I'm open to all suggestions!

That's extremely useful to know exists...

For my time frame, I just wired a relay into the headlight switch circuit.
