==> H@lp Asap, TENSIONER Pulley Removal & Install <==

So I just got back from work and decided to change out the pulley since I got stuck this weekend. While all the others were a success. I got the info to turn clockwise to loosen the Tensioner pulley but now I'm stuck! I don't know how to get it off as it so tight on there. How do I get it off to swap for my new one and place the new one on.. This is the Alternator side w/Accessory Belt Side.

Sorry, I'm not a mechanic but enjoy doing things myself. I felt a complete success as changing out all the other pulleys and belt this past weekend.

I also did my own headers, exhaust, and suspension on my truck. I may take alot longer than most but I feel proud to try and complete a task...

So anyone who can help me asap, thanks!

So I got the bolt off the Tensioner Pulley trying to get the Tensioner to the right to release the belt. Is that right? Its really hard to do it as I can't seem to get it to budge at all. The other Tensioner Pulley on the Supercharger side was very easy to remove and install.

Is there a trick I need to know about? Do you think my Tensioner would be completely out?

Since you have changed the other pulleys, you know which way to turn the wrench. If it is stuck, spray a little WD40 or PB blaster on the bolt and let it set for a little bit. Only other advice I can offer is to put more ass into it.

I got the bolt off with no issues. Once there, I'm stuck now in removing the belt and pulley. Any tips or guide?

Yeah, I can't get the Alternator belt off the Tensioner Pulley. Any tips as it doesn't budge at all.

Thanks :th_scratchhead:

^I'll try to explain.

This weekend I changed out the belt and tensioner pulley on the supercharger side with no issues. I got stuck on the Alternator Tensioner Pulley because I didn't know you had to loosen it up going clockwise. After some help on here I got the knowledge.

I got off work today to use that knowledge. I loosened up the Tensioner Pulley on the Alternator side with no problems. A simple breaker pair go the bolt off. Thats where I'm stuck now.

The dam Tensioner Pulley will not budge. I can't get it to move enough to loosen the Accessory (Alternator) Belt. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong.

Hope that helps as I'm stuck and eating dinner now.
