new to the gxp world.

repair shop is telling me to get monroes all the way around. they use the stock spring so it doesnt change ride height? Is this right?

Tell me I will get a softer ride. I am assuming tires will starting squealing around conrers. Anyone had any experience with using these.

I want to do bilstiens but he is saying he doesnt know if he can get them. this shop wont let me bring my own parts, but the guys do good work and I have done a lot of business with them before.

Second question - I bought car used I have shot Bilstiens in the back (leaking fluid) and Monroe up front - they are saying I need to replace them all the way around?. Any one ever mismatch monroes and bilstien?

Monroes aren't the greatest. You can still get Bilsteins online, which is what I would recommend. Why not do the work yourself?

I would but struts all the way around with out ever doing it would take me a lot of time. I just don't have that much time to devote to something that is fairly straight forward, so I can trust a mechanic to do it right.

Are the shocks yellow or blue upfront. Regardless if it were me I'd buy the shocks anyway and find a shop to dour the little bit of labor and save a ton of money. Shops no matter how loyal you are to them will always mark up parts beyond a reasonable amount.

I would want bilsteins though
