GXP nav is off or slow?

My navigation system in my car seems to be either super slow or off. By the time im down the street, on the screen it still shows im half way there. There is a red diagonal line thru the GPS button on the home navigation screen. Ive looked up everything and not sure what happened. I just bought a new antenna, maybe its the wrong one? Any help??
