Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

GXP goes nuts and sputters! Comes out of it after 3 starts? ECM code? Help!

New guy here. I've had my GXP for about 7 years now. Car has always ran great other the occasional tranny slip or high tranny temp. Today, I went and got gas and after I started it to leave, it ran super rough. Yes, gas cap was on correctly. Sputtering and "low engine power" or something of the sort popped up on the screen and it said to service the traction control as well. Pretty much every light on the dash was lit too by the way. After 3 starts, it comes out of it and runs normal. Check engine light stayed on and I had the code read - ECM was at fault. Took the car home and noticed the battery terminals were super corroded. Cleaned the hell out of them and restarted the car, no check engine light and no sputtering. I almost refuse to believe that it was the problem. Ran the hell out of it, yeah, I know that's not smart. Still fine. Is this something any of you have experienced? Sound like a common issue to anyone? I know these things are notorious for tranny problems, but I love my GXP. Any input would greatly appreciated. I've found that with the net there is usually someone out there that has experienced the exact same problem.

I couldnt really tell you for sure.

Incorrect voltage to the PCM can do all kinds of stuff.

Though sometimes the DoD lifter will stick closed and cause all sorts of issues, a heavy misfire on a cylinder or two and then they spring back open and run like normal.

Ever replaced the spark plugs on that thing??

Yeah, the spark plugs and wires have been changed within the last 6 months. It is meticulously taken care of. It spends most of its life using DOD (Active Fuel Management or whatever it gets called now) traveling to work and back. So far, it has done fine today.
