GXP from Cali?

Hey guys, I am getting an 07 GXP this weekend, I'm stoked...

I pulled up a CarFax, and it's from California. I was wondering what you guys might think about the car being from Cali, with all the restrictions and what not. Do you think the car may under-perform GXP's that are not sold in Cali under the restrictive laws for vehicles? I live in Oklahoma. And as you can imagine, I dont want a car thats been watered down.

So, basically, just because the car was sold in Cali. doesn't mean the car has the emissions package on it? So it's hit or miss? And even if it did have the package on it, does'nt that mean I will have a hard time getting an aftermarket intake (Ip planned on getting one)?

I am waiting to be an approved member there.....Taking a bit though and I need answers as soon as possible.

SO....Would it be ok for me to buy my intake now? Would I be able to install it? What would you guys recommend?

Well you should be able to with a ls6 intake.

Go to ls1tech.com and find ls4 then go to the sticky it tells you there for GXP, Impala SS, Lacrosse super, and MC SS
