gxp 5.3l waterpump HELP!!!

I have a 2006 gxp 5.3l v8. I got home this evening to a sweet smell of disaster and found a stream of coolant flowing from what i believe to be the water pump.......... hope someone gets this and has some helpful knowledge of my problem and just maybe some helpful info to a solution.

Make sure all your hoses are tight.

If all of those are good, start inspecting the gasket. If its not the gasket, the pump may need to be replaced.



Since its an LSx, and this site is more 3800 oriented, you may find more detailed help or others with your situation on LS1tech.com.
