So this should help with the thread jacking when someone mentions firearms in other posts. Boosted… this will fill up with Glock love before too long so get ready.

So my state (Idaho) is getting ready to sign a new law that allows Idaho residents to build and buy suppressors and make or modify firearms without regard to federal ATF regulations.

I have a lathe so I will be making suppressors for most of my armory and making a few guns as well. Man it will be fun.

I really been wanting one for my .17 hmr so I can shoot squirrels in my backyard... We had a bill here in oklahoma not long ago that would have allowed anyone to carry out in the open, but it did not pass. Probably a good thing, cause theres way to many idiots out there. Was hoping it would be just the people that already have the concealed carry.

Problem with putting one on a .17 hmr, is those little bullets are fast, so you will still get the crack from breaking the sound barrier. I know my in-laws live in town and he uses a gamo whisper pellet gun to shoot squirrels. its actually pretty quite.
