GTP vs Charger RT -VIDEO-

Someteeeng. Not. Add. Up. I put a brutal beatdown on a R/T with a few bolt ons with an XP/3.4"/Headers with 2 of my buddys in the car with me from a 40. A heads/cam/3.2" car should be dog walking that pig of a Dodge.

I agree with Nick. I watched a GTP with a 3.4" and supporting mods run dead even with an LT1. Then the LT1 turned around and just destroyed a Charger RT like that one. So, I agree with Nick.

well i did note that the time i saw was the challenger not charger so yeah thanks bud for qouting that lol
and 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T 5.1 13.6
and i said the charger was most likely slower
geez........

Watch the videos again...

if Im right, your not boosting all the way.

Cam and supporting mods even close to a 3.4 should be well over 4-5psi...

unless your gauge is wrong...

You should be at 7-8 lbs depending on your cam. Check for vac leaks and check your ignition system. For some odd reason, I had an ignition problem that effected my boost once.

If I were you, I would stop taking on street races until you get the transmission fixed. Slipping like that, it's just a matter of time.

Only Charger that had a different motor was the base ones...which had a couple of V6's...and they had single outlet exhausts out back...and the SRT8...which didn't have the 5.7 HEMI, but the 6.1.

The R/T's, Daytona's, and some of the Super Bee's had the 5.7.

And this is why I like other people to see it. I guess I just didnt relize the vac leak and I looked at it and found a dry rotted fitting. Now im back at about 8 psi and not even .5 degrees of knock. Cars running soo much better.
