GTP vs. Challenger

So Lastnite I went to a place around here for some street racing(Doty for the ppl around here that kno) and a guy with a brand new challenger pulled up next to me after I got done racing a 01 Mustang GT(I won by the way) and wanted to run it so I said sure. when he pulls up(with his woman in the car) I find out its only a v6 so I shake my head and laugh. He dose his little burnout then I go. we take off n after I stop spining I blow him away by like 6 cars. He didnt even come back after he lost..lol
 


lol nice kill my neigboors v6 challenger is sittin over there i jus looked over there and smiled cant wait till i get top swaped
 


i have buddies that go to doty...idk if it is the same one so please let me know cuz if i got some fellow gtp's their maybe i will show up some time
 
Man, I was expecting to hear about a Hemi Challenger or Charger...not a v6 story... bummer. Oh well, good kill!!
 
Does anyone know how the v8's are, I was just curious. I like the look of the challengers a lot better than the new chargers. Just my opinion though.
 
I killed a V8 R/T with my GXP at the track. It was close he was pulling on me on the big end. A modded GTP would take one im sure.
 


Last time I went to the track there was an SRT8 Challenger running 14'7 & 14.2. A bit dissapointing but the car is a Tank. I agree a modded GTP could take one for sure.

i drove an automatic and a stick challenger srt8...first drove the auto nd i hated the car after...it was fast but it just didnt make me go wow...then i drove the stick nd my mind was totally changed...i know it wasnt much faster but it felt like it...stick shift just makes u feel so much more involved with the car its so great bein able to drope the cluth and cherp gears.
 


I raced an SRT8 Jeep and it's a good pull, neither of us pulled. AWD and typically 12.8 in the 1/4 all day long.

That was before the heads, rockers, intercooler and electric WP. ...lol the good ole days of cam and Gen V only.

Why did you waste the gas on the V6...lol
