Tofu Delivery Boy
So i had a test today at school and I got done a little early and left after I turned it in, and I walk to my car and see a four door Silver Mist Grand Prix along the way in the parking lot. He was dropping off a girl I knew at her car and I checked his car out as I walked by to see if it was a GTP. I noticed tinted tails, different exhaust tips, no door badges, and glanced at the trunk and saw the supercharged script lettering, so I knew it was game.:th_biggrin2:
So i hurry my way to my car across the lot because I see him leaving and I leave, and he pulls out right behind me at the next exit from school. So by this time I was excited to see another modded GTP and it sounded awesome too. He got behind me at a light and did a little rev and I heard how loud his blower was, and again, i knew he was game. I looked at my gas gauge and frowned, but it didn't stop me. I gave a quick rev back, and we proceeded onto an onramp onto 152.
We both got on the highway and had a bit of open road so he gunned it and I did a sec later and I hung with him. And whaddya know the light at the next stop light just turned red and we both were on the front line. (side note, he had a ram air hood and tinted headlights too that looked sexy). I roll down my window and ask him what he's got. A quick chat and we exchanged mod lists as quick as we could. His is 3.25"d with an SS i/c and supporting mods, (he only had a plog, which kind of blew my mind). Either way I told him I had a 3.4" system with supporting mods. (mods in sig). He also said he had a built tranny.
So we look around and a cop is beside us in the left turning lane and he turns and we have open highway. Light turns green and I eased into with it in first then waited for the chirp and threw it into drive and let the car do the rest. He spun and stayed with me for a sec, then all i saw was a bumper behind me!:th_thumbsup-wink: I had him by 2-3 lengths all the way to 90. Then I slowed down and we got beside eachother at about 60, and we didn't honk he just decided to gun it, and I did a sec later and would have passed him had he not cut me off because we had hit traffic.
So we roll into a city and again get a stoplight in our favor. I again beat him all the way to 60 because I had to let off. And he gets beside me, and says, man who did your tune?!?! I said a guy in Excelsior, and he goes "mines not tuned... I have a ZZP PCM with 3.4 settings...." And i'm like
to myself.
Either way, I hope he gets it tuned, and I hope he has 0 knock. I'm not real sure why my car beat him, but I'm also not sure what all other he has done beside i/c, exhaust, pulley, intake, and trans. But, I thought it was a great kill and want to do it again sometime!!

I figured it is just because it's a tight son of a gun, but on a higher note throttle response went up a bit:th_thumbsup-wink:, just sounds like a clunker when idlin by LOL.
