GTP to SE trans swap

I have a 1998 GTP SC and bought a 2002 SE bad trans with a 3.1 can I swap the tranny from the 98 to the 2002 SE with only swapping out the torque converter and flex plate or is it much more involved.

Can I pull the engine and tranny as a unit out of the top or do I have to drop the subframe on both.

its not a direct swap, and you never use a tc from a blown tranny on a good one.

you'd be better of swapping the engine and the tranny into the 02 car, get a tuned pcm for it so it all works right.
 
I am taking the tranny from the 98 GTP good tranny and motor (rusted body and sub frame) to the 2002 SE the torque converter from the 98 HD tranny is larger than the 2002 SE, so I am taking the tranny, torque converter and flex plate from the 98 to put in the 2002.

What would I need from the 98 GTP to transplant the engine and tranny to the 2002 and make a sleeper 4 door
 
Not a whole other then some wire harness pig tail swaps maybe and swapping the whole engine and tranny and axles to the 2002 car. and a pcm tuned for the engine tranny swap.

you cant use the tc off the blown tranny period. it will kill the tranny. you swap the flex plate, but who want a 3100 engine anyways, they kinda blow on many levels.
 
So I can use the wire harness, engine, trans and axles from the 98 to the 2002 any cross members need to be swapped over.

What about the fuel lines?
