GTP rear issue..

Hey everyone I am a 99 GTP owner with 110k and I love it. I am also new to the forum and love all the information that is available. Around 2 weeks ago there was a hideous noise coming from the rear suspension. I had all struts and shocks checked at Pep Boys and they said they were fine. Every time I hit a a pothole or a bump it sounds awful in the rear. I was told it could be the rear wheel hub. Anyone have any suggestions?
 


Check the rear muffler to make sure it is not rubbing up aganst the exhaust hanger mount.
 
It is not the muffler. That's what I thought at first. The sound is coming from the suspension area. I think I am going to get someone else to check the suspension.
 
Thanks guys. Yes I think it is the rear hub assembly as well. I found one on ebay pretty reasonable. So hopefully that will rectify the issue..
