GTP rack and pinion

i was windering if on the newer grand prixs or w body cars was there an option to have a sport steering as they did on the earlier gtp grand prixs and other various vehicles? i kinf of think this car is great on a straight away but like around corners it seems to loose a lil sumthing. just an idea.

i wanna take mine down the AutoX some time soon but am sure the steering will give in real quick. Any advice on how to prevent power steering from going out a second time on me?
