Gtp powered twin engine custom car runs low 8s



Holy hell this thing is insane! So many more things I need to know like have you even opened up that nitrous bottle and how can others switch to a digital dash like that? I'd love to use one for caged car maybe by year 2090 LOL.... But yea some more info on that setup please!

Also don't you think it would help to have the body on it at the drag strip? Or maybe your better of without since it would likely be left in the staging lane anyways!!

Damn this monster sets the bar high for the 3800 crowd and its already becoming a legend in its own rights!!!!

It's basically a Mircrosoft Surface 2 Tablet with windows on it and HP tuners datalogging. I have another table for the other engine ready to go in it. So I can monitor more things while waiting for my run.
Of course you can't see any gauges in that rocket once under way.

Sounds too easy. I have HPT but god knows im at noob status with that thing............
 
Low 8's? That's awesome!!! I'm at work right now so I can't see the video but what time did it run exactly?

That should be an 8.49@171 in 1/4 :eek:

Hitting the speed limiter, a problem I'll never have...

8.42 at 23 psi boost backing out at 1100 feet or so.

Ran 8.8 @ 160mph at 20 psi of boost full run.

The 8.42 if woulf have made a full run was a 8.3 @ 170mph.

Then cranked up boost insane run but the didnt time the 1/4 just the 1/8 This time i hit the speed limiter even earlier. Even then clock a 8.2 on my TD gps which is extremely accurate but no timeslip.
