OK she shifts beautifully in town and even under regular day to day driving, I think it feels a touch sluggish if I go to 3K and such.
Once I get her out on the highway though or try to kick it down in town it goes to 4-5K RPM and it sounds like its maxing out and I hear strange noises (not crashing or clunking or whining, idk how to describe it) in any case then it just refuses to shift until I back off, then it will shift down.
I drove it back to college today and now she won't shift past 80 MPH without making that noise and I have to really get down on the pedal. The check engine light comes on for 3-5 seconds and then shuts off.
I took the shift accumulators apart back in July and reused the gasket, no transmission fluid is leaking from the pan but still the problem remains. . . .
