how much conversion is it to swap motors from non-supercharged to a supercharged. Is it easier to just buy zzperformance supercharger kit?
 


No clue, because all kits are a waste of money. You can buy yourself the parts you need at a junkyard. Have you searched "Top Swap" yet? It will help you. This literally has been covered hundreds if not thousands of times.
 
would it be easier to go to salvage yard and just pull the motor and drop it in there. and yes i did it takes me to websites that have kits.

How much money you have to spend? Those "Kits" are pricey. Can cost more than an engine itself.

Why don't you join some facebook groups and browse forums. Top Swap pieces you need pop up very often and you can have a whole top swap kit for $500-$700, compared to $1,600+ for an SSM90 kit. With that kind of money, you could come close to buying a used a turbo setup and make more power than you will achieve on a blower for much less money.

Don't be lazy, and start searching for parts. Whether it's on Facebook, Forums, or Local Junk Yards. But, if you want to throw away your money towards a vendor for a kit, have at it. But I'd rather wipe my ass after a massive sh1t with the left over money I could save before giving it to a vendor.

I have an extra S/C ,manifold, heads etc..... from a swap I did. If your interested let me know. I'll sell them for what ever the going price is.
 
L67 swap it if you're not comfortable pulling the heads. You can mess plenty of stuff up doing a top swap if you're not very handy with a wrench. Swapping the motor is 2-3 hours old one out, 2-3 new one in, another hour or 2 taking care of little stuff you missed on the install, and getting a gtp pcm with 3.29 gearing plugged in.

This also leaves you with your old L36 to work on, or sell to recoup some of the cost of the L67. You will need to use your L36 flexplate if you go this route, along with new bolts (tty) to bolt it onto the L67. You should be able to get an L67 from a yard for ~$500 without too much trouble.
 
Plus time the heads are at the machine shop, which varies by how busy they are. At the very least you'll want to have them magged, resurfaced, and a 3 angle valve job done before installing. Adds $ to the total, too.

Save yourself a bunch of money and figure out what you want out of the car first, then plan out your mods to meet that goal. Don't spend a few grand building an M90 setup only to realize you shoulda just went turbo from the start.
