GT 3.8 to a supercharge GTP

I accidentally bought a 1998 GT engine to replace my blown GTP engine out of my 98 Grand Prix GTP. I'm curious if I take the head off the GTP, could it be put on the GT engine? Then of course that would me I have a supercharged engine again, right? I am going to be installing headers with this swap out, if I do that, is everything going to be fine? My car as mentioned above, is a 1998 GTP with no mods, at present time. Oh yes, I also ordered a new PCM, letting them know about the headers, but of course my main question is... is the motor swap out going to be successful, or am I going to have to change something else?

the L36 engine you bought has 9.5:1 compression and your blown L67 has 8.5:1 compression so to run KR free you need more flow mods headers will help but if you alread have the engine out you should consider putting a cam in your L36 block along with a new timing chain some roller rockers then the L67 heads LIM and blower with a good tune youd have quite a build
