didnt know if this should be here, or under site news... i double posted so please delete which ever one is in the wrong place... sorry for the inconvenience

Other forums ive been on all have shirts/hats...

now i will say, i do not personally have the ability/time to get these shirts done, but maybe someone else has the ability/time and maybe even knows someone to get a discount on printing.

heres a quick attempt at an idea for a shirt for the forum... i can try and make some more later, and others may have some ideas... but this is just an idea if anyone is willing to take on this project for the community.

if someone is willing, maybe we can have a post for everyone who wants to make a draft for a shirt, and vote on which everyone likes the most...

heres my second attempt real quick incorporating 2 of the logos from the logo contest. the winner on the front of the shirt, the other one i liked and thought fit well on the back...

Like the idea a lot...don't have the resources myself, but I would pitch in if we could get this going...I like the idea of a matching, or unique decal too for my ride so it has something to wear!

I like them all, but I'd have to say this is probably my favorite. Maybe even one without the logo on the back. More subtle.

I have the resources, and can have them made considerably cheaper than the majority, but yeah. Someone is going to have to talk to me about this first and get something going.
 
I don't know how much I'll be able to do, but whatever we need to do, let me know and I'll do my best.
 
Well if webracing, or whoever hasn't already got something worked out I can check and get exact prices tomorrow (If I hear back from him or one of the others soon enough). I have the time, the place, and the ability to produce as many of these shirts, in any combination, that we're going to need right off the bat.


Seeing as it's not my site, my logo, or my shirt however I need the 'word' first. :D
 


If you get the go ahead...you could set up a pay pal account, or an account, or a pay now ship later kind of deal so you can get the cash for em to get printed.
 
The decals are being handled by Reflective Concepts and they should have them available soon.

HOWEVER.....StreetWolf if you would like to make any other designs of the shirt and offer them here I dont see a problem with it as long as you sign up as a community vendor (get with Rocket on this one, I am not sure what the price is, but I think its about 10 bucks) That money will help the site continue, and you can add it in to the price of your shirts so that no one has out of pocket expense.

The end result is the community gets what they want, and we help the site keep going....sounds like a win win to me.

We'll see what happens with this, and how much interest there is in getting some shirts from me as well as vinyl decals for everything else.

I've got a few ideas made up, take in mind these are only very rough sketches. Everything below is meant to work being made as a vinyl decal and on a shirt as well. On the front, on the back, or both if you prefer. Also take in mind if you want something in a different color thats fine. Colors seen below are just for reference.

The first one would make a good rear or side window decal and the third would be good for a windsheild banner. The fifth one would look good on the back of a shirt, kinda has the grand turismo look. That's just my thoughts so far. Appreciate the work your putting in so far.
 
do up a shirt design and post it up. If there are people that that want it, send the graphic file to me via email and I will add it to cafepress.
