Grand Prix Rally tires?

I've been wanting to mod my grand prix, and the whole "Drift" or "Stance" scene just isn't my style, so I thought I'd go with a more, rally inspired build, and lift my car, with some bigger tires and maybe a lightbar or so. but what I wanted to know is where I could find some beefy off road rims and tires to throw on my car for more clearance and traction, and overall looks. all I'm wondering is what are the details I need to look out for to be able to tell if a certain rim and tire will fit the car?

You mean like this? -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC6T-urlB1g

The backspacing/offset and wheel size should be listed in the tire/wheel forum. You would likely have to roll the fenders and rear quarters to make sure you don't rub. Then once that is done go buy a built transmission to handle all the excess weight. Even in stock form they are known to eat transmissions and when you add more weight to them it just goes downhill from there. Triple Edge Performance could be a good place to start.

Before anyone craps on your idea I've seen a mid 90's toyota sedan around here that was lifted and had a roof rack, etc. Looked like a baja 'yota. Actually looked well done and it was all functional. Sure it cost him some $$ to do it right but what doesn't when you mod something correctly.

Yeah, something close to that, personally, I want even more lift, with meatier tires, and a decent size push bar, but a tranny swap is really at the top of my list right now, after it was bought for me, (It's my first car) I didn't check the tranny fluid for about 6-7 months, and for that time, it ran on pure motor oil, took it like a champ though, but that doesn't mean it needs a new transmission bad. but I guess my biggest insporation are those "Buggy Miatas" With the standard clearance being about 5.5 inches, I think somwhere between 10-15 inches would be pretty sweet
