So i hear these are good projection lights, i also seen them on a buddies pontiac gto he installed them on and they look pretty sweet, but the question is what is your guys thoughts?
possitives and negatives all appricated, to make me decide more would like people to comment and give me their feedback would be appricated...
granted 196 dollers isnt cheap, but i like how they have the LED siding in them, let me know!

I personally love them, the light output is way better than stock. The brights are worthless. It takes some aligning to get it right, but they seem to be durable, and are plug and play so its easy to install. some people have issues with bouncing, I personally havnt but its un easy fix with some weatherstripping.




If its these ones, which it sounds like it if it has the leds on sides:

dont waste your money. The fitment was horrible, huge gaps above and under and near grilles. light output was terrible.... i had the silverstars and they didnt do jack (now i realized projectors are best with hids, but still the light output was terrible and scattered). The 'halos' arent real halos at all... just rings with lights set behind them (unlike normal, which the leds are shining into the rings).


if its the new dashzracing halos, i cant say anything about them as I havnt had them on my car.
 
i have heard on this forum that these ones have a poor beam path and light output. there are threads on here that back up what cowgirldani said with more opinions... search!

Don't buy from ipex motoring. Two guys on club gp got the wrong order. One guy ordered black and he got the chrome ones. The other guy got one chrome and one black. He is waiting on the replacement set from ipex.

Dash is offering them in the group buy for $215 shipped.

Hey check out these new helo projectors called CCFL HELO. The helo ring are bright, like the bmw rings. U can even see them clearly in daylight. The only downfall is that they dont have the LEDs.
