Grand am Gt vs.taurus

So my friend has a Taurus and he thought he can beet me in a race so we hung out and when everyone was leaving i took 3 other ppl in my car and one is a fat beast, anyways he had one other person. so we got to the light and started to inch up way ahead of me so i got pretty even with him the light turns green he floors it and i put it down only about 3quarts of the way down and still smokes his ass,. He just laughed about it.
