GP air ride setup!

So i have an opportunity to get a set of brand new struts with bags, lines, and tank for about 500 buck... is this worth it or not? I was thinking of coilovers but also heard bags were better.. i would have to purchase the compressors seperately which isnt a big deal.. but just want to see thoughts on an air ride setup compared to coilovers

snatch that deal for the air struts, then head over to bagriders, and buy a PROPER air management system. Accuair is worth EVERY penny

I will find out the brand tomorrow, but you think that for all four bags/struts, lines and tank that is a good deal?

Ya thata what I'm going to do for sure before I buy it... from what I can tell from the searches that I have done so far, I haven't been able to find any struts/bags for under 600 and thats for just the fronts usually

yeah make sure they aren't anything sketchy. 500 for all of that sounds a little too good to be true, but who knows man it could be a super good deal

I would take a compressor and make sure the bags hold air. Just because they are new doesn't mean they don't have holes.

So the brand is Easy Street, he worked there and purchased them so thats why he can sell them so low, i got pics and everything is brand new in original plastic...comes with 4 struts, lines, tank, and top mounts...what you guys think?

they didn't sell as many as they wanted. they were the first to provide bags for these cars.

they'll work and do what you want.

Ok cool, ya he said he has had them for a while, his gtp is long gone he just never got a chance to put them on and they sat in his garage.. so he says, but they look brand new in the pics... so if some one could help, what else would i need to run these? Compressor, switches and guages? Is that about it or is there more lol

Heres a pic of them

buy it, see what you need, then contact someone at air lift or bag riders to set you up with the rest of what you need. you really want to have a good management system. manual paddles and pressure gauges suck.

I have 2 friends with an AccuAir E-level management system in their cars, and it's quite the simple setup. Everybody i've seen running bags on these cars (and no offense to anybody) their management looks sketchy as all hell, AccuAir comes with everything you need, and it's very well put together. If you buy the bags at that price, do look into this. Save yourself some hassle, and do a clean install.

Here's a link to the Elevel system from Bagriders

Haha 1900 bucks for that ****.. . Don't think so.. plus it already come with a lot of that stuff. That's f-ing crazy.. I can piece together the rest for way cheaper then that for like 500

OP is asking if $500 is a good deal for what he's getting and you link him to $1900 bags? yea..it's a Grand Prix I doubt he's dropping that on it.

Ya thats alot to spend lol i knwow its prob the best system to use but im not looking to break the bank here, just trying to find a good setup
