Gotta Install Mud Flaps

Because of the way the body rolls under and the wheels throw everything onto the paint I've got to install mud flaps. If I don't the roads I drive on will eat the paint and then the sheet metal away to nothing. Since I drive about 120,000 miles a year it will save the body. I don't necessarily like them and was wondering if they'd look better painted or the original black. Hide 'em or show 'em off? I believe that I can bake them, glass bead them, use adhesive promoter and get paint to stick just fine. Has anyone done this and how'd it work out?

I did get the windows tinted and that makes quite the difference on a white car. Need some exhaust tips because the stock one's suck. I have some old Borla's off the Vette that I will probably use.

Get some big floppy rally armor flaps and show 'em off. I'd personally go with about an inch of the flap hanging outside the body.

120k a year?

Yeah, 'fraid so. About 460 miles a day and I supply my own car and gas. Lots and lots of audio books. I can't move because I deliver narcotics and it just wouldn't help. I already got the factory molded splash guards from GM Parts Direct and was wondering about painting them. I could leave them black and maybe do a carbon fiber wrap on the side skirts.
