Gotcher slow civic and 3.5 maxipad

ok so. I havent driven my car for 2 weeks due to the rear brakes being so bad. I decided to take it out for a while. Was driving down a main road and i see this 93 or so civic with the whole 9 primer black, fartcan, euros (ive seen this kid rippin around thinking hes fast and tough). I didnt really care to race him till i try just passing doing the speed limit (45 or so) when he downshifts so i downshift at an instant i pull 2 lengths and i still hear him on it i let off i was only on it for a second, i look back and im 4 or 5 lengths ahead lol. He was so mad shaking his head as i was laughing at him, he gave me a ricer fly by a few times then he took some weaves in and out of traffic and that was it. Later on a few buddies and i decided to go for a cruze to look at a white Buick Riviera, 5 cars deep just cruzing so my one friend with a maxima 3.5 wanted to go from a roll we did a 40 roll almost even till i start pulling at about 60ish by 85 i was a 1/2 car on him. Then we went from a 20 roll my car instantly downshifts and i pull 1/2 car by 90 i pulled 1 full car. I didnt let off till about 135, couldnt really tell how fast i was going since the speedometer only goes to 110 :th_thumbsup-wink:. There was a g-35 cruzing around us, i tried giving him a run but he didnt want any after he saw i beat the maxipad :). My one buddy who was behind me said there was a poof of black smoke that came out of my car along with a thick smell of gas, when i ran the maxipad. I thought maybe it was from the mods? :confused:

It's like all ricers go to a convention like trekkies and talk about how to preform the ricer fly-by and how to drive after you loose, cuz every time, everywhere they all do the same thing. I'll get ricers that do the fly-by's one after the other taunting me...we get a light, I'm ready to go and they just sit there at the green cuz they know they aren't worth a damn. Good kills..and wow I didn't know those maxima's are so quick.
 
the problem i think w/ racing, is that people can't accept that SOMEONE else out there is faster then they are.....
