got screwed out of a deal

a member was selling a nitrous kit. i pm'd him on the 13th saying i will buy it!! he ask me not to pay until he gets back in town. well a week and a half go by and i pm him like every day because i want the kit. well he finally tells me 2 days ago he is back in town so i paypal him the agreed amount.

wake up today and he has refunded me the money saying someone else payed 2 hours before me

that sucks, try finding a 99 grand prix gtp for sale, perfect body, running engine, no problems except the owner is moving and cant take it with him. selling for $1400 cash...i say ok, im a take it...i call the guy the next day, says someone came and bought it yesterday, im like WTF!! so yeah...my friend bought it from under me...used it for 2 weeks, than flipped the car for a profit...so i lost out on the car twice x_x lesson of that story is dont post a link to the graigslist add to a car your going to buy in your local clubs forum
