look at the rust on the lca. what they do plow a curb with it? looks like the strut, knuckle, axle, lca, brake line all took a hard shot.

because two of the rims were shot from when they ditched it, bent one and cracked the other.. Well, put on a very cliche intake.. lol.. seems to work pretty good.. but i started to notice that when im cruising 60-70ish, it seems like my tranny is slipping but its not at any other speed faster or slower.. ive read on some other sites that if i cleaned the battery terminals and checked the grounds and all that, that it may solve my problem.. well it didnt.. any one else had a problem like this before? kinda worries me since its only got that many miles on her..

Update: Since im buying parts with every paycheck i gotta wait till friday.. But i did do some other small cosmetic crap. Painted the motor mounts and cross braces mettalic silver ( sorry shes not all pretty and clean still my winter vehicle) and debadged those hideous gm badges on side..

Yea yea that stripe has to go lol.. I don't think pinstripes belong on modern day cars.

We'll see.. still gotta get the right front fender replaced.. so dont know if im gonna be able to keep the stripe or not.. and also, i messaged a guy about a gxp spoiler, he wanted 150 bucks for it.. good deal or nah? and if you know of any cheaper that would be awesome lol

Clean the throttle body and MAF sensor, that might help with the trans issue. Both of those and more so the MAF can determine transmssion functions.

And where in MN you is?

Southwest mn, willmar, Marshall that area. And thanks! I'll grab a can tomorrow and see if that helps.. Got hids in the mail today. Gonna put them on tomorrow now

Well... cleaned up the maf and tb when i got home from work.. didnt help a whole lot but it helped a bit.. doesnt do it as often? will try and post a vid on youtube within the next day to give a little better explanation.. also, got some hids for it.. didnt really feel like messing up a set of good headlights on a (what i know will be) failed retrofit attempt.. got some pics of them also.. OHHHH and i also picked up a GXP spoiler... for 25 bucks!!

You need to see what your experience when driving it in 3rd instead of 4 is. The RPM "hunting" it is doing could be from either TC lockup/unlock or possibly a 4th clutch hub gear spline problem(less likely since those are hardened from the factory for your year). Invest $5 in the torque app for your cellphone and $15 in a bluetooth elm327 obd adapter. Armed with with those small items you can read your own codes and get a plethoria of information about what your car is doing on your own. It's worthy to mention that many transmission codes won't set a check engine light.

Enjoy your new ride. :)
