Got my 4th grand prix

Picked up my 4th one of these cars. Finally one that isn't rotted from end to end. Asking was $2500, picked it up for $2400. My first coupe. And the least mileage of any I've owned. 104xxx miles. Windows already tinted, has a K&N intake and some aftermarket exhaust.
Issues:
1. DIC doesn't read properly, mpg, range, fuel used, all wrong.
2. fuel gauge goes up but doesn't appear to go down. (related to #1)
3. P0742 torque converter selonoid sensor, hopefully just the sensor but thoughts on that would be appreciated
4. When I go to spray the windshield washer fluid it doesn't spray anything but the wipers start moving, just no fluid.
5. Fan doesn't blow on settings 1 and 2 but works on 3,4,5.

Otherwise it's very nice, clean, smoke free, rust free including the rockers and struts.

That car never saw salt.

Great shape, body wise. Headlights are kinda crispy.
Great deal for 900
 
Fan issue sounds like the blower motor resistor is shot.

Are you sure you have enough washer fluid? Have someone hit the switch in the car and you put your head near the passenger side bumper and listen for the pump to come. If it doesn't, then that's your issue.

So then the assumption is it was beat on at least a little, or worse... But beat on none the less.

All common GP problems

1. Check for blown bulbs on the DIC.
2. Fuel level guage, common problem, replace and be happy.
3. Beat on... 104k is just broken in, take a shot and replace solenoid.
4. Washer pump, inside passenger fender well, check for 12v at pump with switch operated. Replace as necessary, but think the pumps is like $20 so no biggie.
5. Resistor, but you found that out already.
 
what do I need to replace for the fuel level gauge? And the DIC reads out, just not the correct numbers. like I filled up the tank and the range just said 2.
 


Just the level sensor, they sell them all over ebay for like 20-30 bucks.

The fingers that run across the circut board break off and cause the gauge to flop around.
