Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Was a car ahead and gaining ground... No video as of right now.

Hey, you have any pics of your ride that you can post??? Exterior, engine compartment, all around, etc. etc. etc. Great run by the way.

Nice 1/8th ET with the 6.88, even that MPH is low, what's the car capable of?

Prob 9's with a better 60ft

IIRC it ran a 10.5 a few weeks ago, so im guessing he's faster than that now. He likes to play games like this. Also he doesn't find much difference between a Grand Prix and a Fiero ;)

I want to be in the 6.3 area in the 1/8. 1/4 mile will come with some more chassis tweaks... It takes some effort to get a fiero to hook, and go 140+ without flipping over or crashing.

Also he doesn't find much difference between a Grand Prix and a Fiero

For the record, there was more than one GTP at zzp race day that was lighter than me.

Good Luck with your goal. :th_thumbsup-wink: I'm sure chassis certification will be interesting when you get down towards that ET. (If running NHRA tracks).

Can't see the video posted above at work, but would like to see pictures of the car sometime..

I run at "true street" events that are designed to keep street racers off the streets, so they do not tech anything.

The car looks like crap, I will try to dig up some pictures.

For the record, fieros are rear engine, rwd. IIRC they come stock at 2800 pounds. It's hard to imagine you packed on 300-400 pounds in a 3.8l swap and turbo setup. Either way, always impressed with the car, but you telling everyone a fiero is the same as a grand prix is just not right... lol

If you built a fiero, you wouldnt be suprised.

The transmission weighs 98lbs more than a fiero auto, and 130lbs more than a manual, dry... add 14 quarts + trans cooler + 12 feet of 3/8 trans lines.. and you are packing on some lbs.

The block weighs about 80lbs more, we will discount the intake trimmings. Turbo is roughly 20lbs, intercooler core is almost 10, with pumps/lines/FMHE and fluid probably racks up at least 30.

I did a bit of weight redux, probably 15lbs in interior, and 20-30 in AC parts.

I weighed in at 3170 with me in it at the track, and purplenator from CGP weighed in at 3130, same track, same scale. He obviously had weight redux going pretty good... but we both weighed on the return lane after running our times.
