Got into an accident :(

Hey everyone.

My name is Chris, I drive a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. I recently got into a wreck with no insurance. The front end of my drivers side got messed up. The headlight and fog lamp both got ripped out of the vehicle and the front bumper came completely detached. The quarter panel is slightly dented but can probably be fixed. How much do you think it would cost to get a new front bumper installed along with a new fog lamp and possibly headlight?

Thanks
Chris

Ps I saw the entire front end unit at GM parts direct for $365 but
I'm not sure its the correct color or anything..

for $365 nothing will have paint on it. imho which is the most expensive part of this. If you're at all mechanicly inclined or good with bolting up stuff, this should be quick and painless for you once you get the stuff painted.

No insurance is, as the sheep would say, Baaaaaaaaa-d!! Shame on you :th_thumb-down: . If you need headlight(s) though I got a good set off of Amazon for $61.95 + 12.95 shipping for my 98 GT.

I've got them on my car and they are a pretty good set, even came labeled as Eagle Eyes, which was a shock since I figured they would be some Chinese aftermarket knock-off brand.
Not sure on the other stuff though so you're on your own there.

-Edit-
I just looked and, as I thought, your '07 has different lights than my '98 so I looked up stuff for your '07. I hope I got this right, but here is a bunch of options for you to look through.

P.S. Get some insurance.

I have an 04 gtp comp g . I got backed into leaving a Menard's parking lot....the guy just didn't even look with his big ass truck and crunched the front passenger side quarter panel.

I have insurance and it covered it 100% The fender itself was only 225 the rest of the 1,694.40 was all paint and putting everything back together. There wasn't even that much damage. You'd be amazed how fast all that stuff adds up.
You are luck your airbags didn't deploy...then you'd be f*ed.

Um, is it even legal to drive without insurance? Last I checked it isn't. I wouldn't even look at my car if I didn't have insurance. For frig sakes, I got pulled over one day without my insurance card and I got a $186 ticket which I was able to get dropped after showing proof. Good luck man, but you brought that one on yourself.

Oh jeez no, I had insurance, I just didn't have the correct card with me. The one I had was expired and I was speeding at the time so he wasn't too kind about it oh well.

I had a similar thing happen to me not to long ago here. I got pulled over (speeding but let me go) didn't have current proof and he wrote me like a $500 ticket. I went to court and proved I had insurance and they dropped it down to like $100..

if you cant prove you have insurance in NJ they take you licence for 2 years, it used to be a 2500 fine, and then 3 years of surcharges at like 300 or more a year. i have no idea what the fines are today but you can bet its more now.

NJ is big on having insurance.
