so i did the 12" front brake upgrade. went well. on for about a month everything working great. i had to replace my front hub assebly (under warranty so no worries). so i take the whole brakes apart. when i go to put it back together, the caliper pins wont screw into the caliper all the way. its like the pins pulled the threads of the caliper out and stretched them. is that possible? so i just used an impact to get them in as far as it would go and their still not in all the way. so now everything i brake it squeaks really bad. and its only that side so i know its a problem. but why? am i going to have to get a new caliper? thats what im guessing and what about the pins? should i get new ones too so this doesnt happen again? any input its helpful. thanks!

oh btw i put the pins in the caliper braket just fine without the caliper so its not like its clogged with smoething not letting them go in.

The caliper pins on mine thread into the back of the caliper bracket and the pin portion goes into a rubber sleeve on the other end of the bracket. If this rubber sleeve is mushroomed, not aligned, or you have installed two, then there is no way to completely tighten the pin.

This is kind of a shot in the dark - but worth checking...

yeah thats the first thing i checked so i tried to thread the bolt onto the caliper only with it off and it would only go about half a turn. so inknow something is wrong with the threads but why
