hey guys just got my rebuild completely done started her up today she ran beautifuly took her for a test drive an everything was goin just fine until I started getting a miss around 1500 rpms an sumtimes at 2500 rpm ive put all new plugs plug wires in her an I just cant figure out whats causing it its not throwing any codes at all idle is smooth as can be its just the slightest miss it happends rite when u hit 1500 an rite when u pass it it goes away an runs quite well can anyone help me with is I would greatly appreciate it sooo much thank you guys

I just rebuilt the whole motor .010 crank new main an rod berings all .010 an new cam berings new oil pump new rods new pistons new everything for the motor basically resurfaced block an heads new valve stems new valve seals same coil packs tho check them an they where still good so I kept them mods are xp hot cam 140# valve springs double roller timing chain ported sc ported lim ported tb 3 in catless downpipe zzp 1.0 pcm front powerlog 3.3 sc pulley an still have the old 3.4 was gonna go smalled but zzp recommend the 3.3 ac delete cold air intake 160 drilled tstat I think that's about everything im, sure im missing sumthing tho

Plugs too cold for that boost level. Go with 104's. And your t Stat is too cold. These cars like to run 180-200. Not 160.

still to cold of a plug for your mods now. was way to cold before the mods.

pop some 104's in there gaped to say 50 or so. it cant hurt to play with the gap either, try 60, 55, 53, and 50. set them to what ever felt best.

^^x2 what he said. As for the misfire if you're sure it isn't the plugs then go back from there. Wires, icm, etc. Then check injector wires too.

Ok I'll try that man I appreciate all u guys r saying it kinda feels like just a dead cylinder which one I cudnt really tell ya but I really do appreciate it I'm gonna try the injectors next an c if that might b the case

I emailed zzp to c if they cud help f8nd out wats Goin on wit this miss an this is wat they told me bout the plugs an all

A 103s are a great plug, gap them around .050”
The car needs to be scanned to find out what cylinder is giving you the issues.
The mod package looks good.
Pull the plugs and check them out.
Thank you for your business,
Turbo Tim
