My father has a 96 DOHC 3.4 cutlass that is having power steering issues. It keeps purging it ps fluid randomly. We beleive the pressure control solenoid is shot. The clip is broken and does not keep a connection. Problem is, I cannot find ANYWHERE that has one, new or junk yard. Any tips or leads that could help me out? thanks!
 


thing is most PS pumps on the DOHC dont have that connector for the variable PS. my DOHC has the wire on the harness but it isnt used and just hangs there. two options run with it unplugged or get some good tape and tape it in there.

Would the pcm be different on cars that do have it vs cars that don't? I will try it
 
i had to switch mine onto a new pump and lost that clip your talking about.i used a very small hose clamp to hold it down and it hasnt failed me yet.
