Good place to hardwire a radar detector??

Hey everyone, I just took delivery a few days ago of my 2007 Grand Prix GXP. I've always hardwired my radar detector into every car I have, and this is my first experience with a GP. Anyone know a good place to hook it up to? I'd like to tuck it up and to the right of the rearview mirror, near the top of the windshield. Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

I would check the fuse box for open spots.

I have my power wire going from the radio power. so It turns on when I turn on the car and off when I open the door.

I've got my Valentine One hardwired to a wire under the passenger dash and routed up along the door, along the windshield/headliner and behind the mirror.

I used a piece of velcro on the V1 wire and on the back of the mirror to hide it when the V1 is in the glove box.

If you need, I can take pictures of the wire sometime soon.
