hello, 97 GP GT and my fuel gauge is all over the place so I purchased just the sending unit only (no float or arm). So the question is how to pull the pump and have the least amount of fuel spill all over the place. Plus is it mandatory to replace the o-ring, and any other issues I might encounter. Thanks

that pretty much sums it up and Hans is drunk in the vid (norm for him) so it's pretty funny too. Overall it's straight forward.

On the 97 there is an access panel in the trunk best way to get to it is remove back seat, lift up carpet, get a 10 mm socket and take off the bolts holding the access plate on, remove the plate remove the blue rubber O ring, take out pump, disconnect wires done.
